SAFE STANDING - FOOTBALL LEAGUE CONSULTS CLUBS - FOR OR AGAINST?

Over the years since the introduction of all-seater stadiums football fans have yearned for the return of standing at games. It appears that the authorities are starting to take heed.
The BBC article on the Football League consulting its 72 member clubs on the return of standing in their grounds will be a late Christmas present for many fans the length and breadth of the country. Currently, clubs in the Championship and the Premier League have to have all-seater stadiums within 3 years of their promotion, which many feel provides an unfair and unnecessary financial burden on clubs.
So, has the time come for us to 'move with the times' and embrace safe standing?
